Mgr. Alexandra Ballóová awarded at the Czecho-Slovak psychopharmacological Conference

PhD student Mgr. Alexandra Ballóová from the Institute of Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology (IEPT), CEM SAV, won the Best Poster Award in the field of preclinical research at the 65th Czecho-Slovak Psychopharmacology Conference.

Mgr. Ballóová comments on the award: “Poster presents our research of the new compound, SMe1EC2M3. I am delighted that this experimental work has been successful and has also attracted the attention of clinics. The conference was very interesting and exciting for the clinical staff there. We have further plans to research the compound soon, so we are hoping for the best.”

Mgr. Ballóová worked on the research with the team from IEPT consisting of Mgr. Romana Koprdová, PhD, Mojmír Mach, PhD. Ing. Alexandra Reichová, PhD. and doc. RNDr. Ján Bakoš, PhD. from the Biomedical Centre of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
